My little sister is ready to read the American Girl books! I want some ideas for what she should read. I don't want them to be too scary or intense, though, because she's just in 1st grade. She's reading 'Kailey' right now, but I'd like her to read the historical books. What do you think? Leave comments!

My favorite american girl book (and the first one I read!) was Meet Molly. I think I have read that book five times! I think it's a great book to introduce younger girls to american girl. ;-)
